About the Position: Tour Guide in Norway

Norway is home to some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, and while the bus driver navigates the roads, you, as a tour guide, will have a front-row seat to it all.

Working as a tour guide in Norway is often described as “getting paid to travel,” and it’s no wonder why. You’ll explore national parks, scenic routes, stunning fjords, majestic mountains, and iconic locations, all while passing countless waterfalls (and tunnels).

Norwegians are known for their reserved cultural nature, but as a tour guide, you’ll bridge the gap by sharing fascinating insights into life in Norway. Haven’t been to Norway before? Don’t worry. We’ll provide the training you need to master the facts and guide with confidence. What truly matters is your ability to transform that knowledge into fun, engaging stories!

If this sounds like the adventure you’ve been waiting for, you might just be on the right track. Keep on reading!

The skills needed to be a successful tour guide are multifaceted. Below, we’ve highlighted a few key traits. If you find yourself nodding along and thinking, “Yes, that’s me!” to most of these, we’d love to hear from you:
